Pomodoro is a tomato-based pasta sauce that has been around since the 1960s. It has gained a cult following among foodies and chefs for its simple recipe, and for the fact that it’s a healthy alternative to tomato sauce.

The method involves breaking down tasks into small segments of 25 minutes. Then, you work for those periods without taking breaks until you complete your task. At the end of each period, you take a break and come back to the kitchen after a few minutes.

This process ensures that you do your best to avoid burnout when working in the kitchen. In addition, it allows you to concentrate fully on one job, instead of getting distracted by other things.

How to Use Pomodoro Sauce

Pomodoro Sauce is a very versatile tool in a kitchen. It can be used in all sorts of ways from marinades to sauces.

kosher salt, plus more as needed

  • 1/4 teaspoon 

freshly ground black pepper, plus more as needed

How to Make Pomodoro Sauce

Step 1. Pick the right kind of tomatoes. In order to make a nice tomato sauce, you need to use a variety of tomatoes, so it’s important to choose the right type for the dish you are making. For example, when you want a tomato sauce for pasta, you need to use plum or beefsteak tomatoes.

Step 2. Add water. To make a good tomato sauce, you need to add enough water to allow the sauce to cook down and thicken up. The amount of water you need depends on the kind of tomatoes you used. For instance, if you are using plum or beefsteak tomatoes, you may need about 2 cups of water.

Step 3. Stir. Stirring is important because it allows all the ingredients to mix together and it also helps prevent burning. It’s also the key to making sure you don’t lose any of the nutrients in your tomatoes.

Step 4. Cook. This step is optional, but it helps to cook the sauce down and thicken it up. Some people prefer to skip this step, but I think it makes the sauce taste better if you do it.STEP 5.
