This recipe is the original Honey Glazed Chicken recipe, but it’s been updated and expanded to accommodate modern cooking techniques.
This is a great dish to serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
STEP 1: Make Honey Glazed Chicken
Preheat oven to 425F
Cut chicken breast in half lengthwise.
Brush top side of chicken with melted butter.
Sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a medium size skillet over high heat. Add chicken and cook 5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Transfer chicken to baking sheet and place in oven for 5 minutes to finish cooking.
Remove from oven and place on cutting board. Cover with foil and let rest for 5 minutes.
While chicken is resting, make sauce.
STEP 2: Make Sauce
Mix together all ingredients except honey.
Add honey and mix well.
STEP 3: Serve
Serve honey glazed chicken with mashed potatoes or rice.
